Seppeltsfield, one of Australia’s oldest wineries, established in 1850, has been lovingly restored into one of the Barossa’s exceptional wine locales, including the gravity winery, heritage site, an operating cooperage, Fino restaurant and a collection of resident artists. The most exotic feature is the famous Centennial Port Collection, an unbroken series of ports every year from 1878 to the present. The estate is the only winery in the world to release a 100-year-old port each year.
We can spend half a day and an evening tasting, relaxing and dining in the original family homestead or just drop in to taste one of the world’s most famous ports, or museum Apera, Topaque and Liquer Muscat, make a barrel or chill out with artists at the Jam Factory.
